Enticing guests with a sauna and hot public baths, the comfortable 4-star Onyado Nono Asakusa Annex - Natural Hot Spring Tokyo hotel is nearly a 25-minute stroll from the huge Tokyo Skytree Tower. The smoke-free hotel is situated right in the centre of Tokyo, 2.3 km from such cultural attractions as the compact Ueno Royal Museum.

Location

This Tokyo hotel lies in the Ueno, Asakusa, Senju, Ryogoku district, just near the historic Senso-ji Temple. Sports fans can also visit the Ryogoku Kokugikan, approximately 30 minutes on foot from the Onyado Nono Asakusa Annex - Natural Hot Spring Tokyo, and take their families to the Sumida Aquarium, which is approximately a 35-minute stroll away.

Feel in total harmony with nature by visiting the style park "Former Yasuda Garden", 2.4 km from the accommodation.

A nice stay

tatami mats massage chair

The tatami mats throughout the hotel provided a unique cultural touch and were very comfortable. I enjoyed the complimentary onsen facilities. I went there twice daily and found it very relaxing, and there was also a massage chair available for use.

great location diverse breakfast unclear terms poor staff

the hotel had a great location, i found it close to senso-ji temple. the japanese breakfast buffet was tasty and diverse. i enjoyed the shoe-boxes in the entrance, i think its superb.

the staff, they were not great. the onsen terms werent clearly stated and there was no flexibility shown.

staff attitude onsen rules

the onsen was acceptable. i guess.

the staff attitude really bothered me. i felt the onsen rules weren't clear enough, especially that no flexibility existed. it was like i was walking on eggshells the whole time, not what i wanted.
